  • Eat your dinner slowly. One of the reasons why you become bloated is because you scarf down your dinner too fast. When you eat too fast, you are going to consume a lot of air in the process which can make your stomach more bloated.
  • Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages. You have to remember that alcoholic beverages contain a lot of calories. Instead of reaching for your favorite drink, settle for lemon and water. You can surely get rid of excess water this way.
  • Walk around. After you eat your dinner, you can rest a bit and take a stroll. It will help your body to know that it needs to start digesting the food that you have consumed.

What if you are already bloated? You do not need to worry about how to get rid of bloating because the following tips are going to help you do just that.

Hydrate

Drinking enough water can get rid of both facial and stomach bloat. By drinking enough water you can expel the excess salt that you have in your body. At the same time, drinking water can cause your stomach gas to leave.

Lessen salt intake

It will be tempting to eat all of the foods that you have always liked, but if you want to feel fresh and light, choose food that does not contain too much salt. You will be happy with the results for sure.

Cardio

When you do enough cardio throughout the day, you are increasing the chances of sweating out the bloat that has accumulated on your face and stomach. Exercise should be a vital part of your routine. The more minutes that you spend on exercise, the easier it will be for you to avoid bloating.

Sleep

Enough sleep is not something that people get right now. People are expected to have more than 6 hours of sleep every night, but most people get only 3 – 4 hours. When you sleep you allow your body to recuperate, which means that the chances of bloating will be less likely.
